Accessible India Campaign (Sugamya Bharat Abhiyan)
  • Accessible India Campaign (Sugamya Bharat Abhiyan) is a nation-wide flagship campaign initiated by the Government of India for achieving universal accessibility for people with disabilities in the areas of:

(a) Information,
(b) Transportation,
(c) Physical Environment,
(d) Communication Technology and
(e) Accessibility to Services.

  • The Government launched this campaign to fulfil their vision of having an inclusive society in which equal opportunities and access is provided for the growth and development of persons with disabilities to lead productive, safe and dignified lives.
Association of People with Disability (APD) India
  • The Association of People with Disability (APD) is a non-profit organization based out of Bangalore working to enable persons with disabilities through rehabilitation and employability programmes, since 1959.
  • APD is hosting the Immersion Day, will provide expertise and mentorship, and will be the liaison to persons with disabilities to contribute to the Enable Makeathon.

IoTBLR Foundation for Pervasive Computing (IoTBLR)
  • IoTBLR is an open community for Internet of Things enthusiasts and is one of the largest IoT-focused meetup groups globally. IoTBLR engages with startups, working professionals, students, companies, industry bodies, government and others to build the IoT ecosystem and help take hardware+software solutions from idea to market.
  • IoTBLR conceptualizes and runs the Enable Makeathon program together with Workbench Projects and the ICRC.

  • Workbench Projects is a maker space and FabLab in Bangalore engaged in the business of conducting meetups, workshops, trainings and events towards innovative product development and sales.
  • Workbench Projects conceptualizes and runs the Enable Make-a-thon program together with IoTBLR and the ICRC.

  • The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (also known as IIMB) is a public business school located in Bangalore. Founded in 1973, it is consistently ranked as one of the best business schools in India and the Asia Pacific region.
